In case anyone hasn't seen it, I highly recommend biskybat's Marlows/Famous Five crossover fic. The first chapter is here, where Peter, Nick and Lawrie are sent to stay with the Kirrins as Trennels is having building work.
At first I read that as Marlowe/Famous Five, which sent me off on a happy Elizabethan time-travel romp in which Julian and Kit get on very well indeed. Then I cam to what remains of my senses :-)
