Ha ha ha.

AND I've bled through my trousers. Joy.

(I found where I'd packed my mooncup yesterday, but I have mislaid my sterilising tablets. Boo. AND I'M NOT MEANT TO HAVE PERIODS ON THE IMPLANT.)

Just wash the mooncup with soap, surely. Oh man.

You don't need sterlizing tablets - just boil it for 5-10 minutes and it's sterilized.

Sucks about getting it on the implant, though. Have you called your doc?

A mooncup is a menstrual cup - it's sits in the vagina in about the same place as a tampon, and the menstrual fluid collects in in. It can be emptied as and when needed, simply by taking it out and either wiping with tissue or rinsing, and is not associated with TSS. Between uses, it should be sterilised, either by boiling, or by using sterilising tablets, like you do wtih the nipples on babies' bottles.
