since i got here i have driven my parents' car into the garage door and also swallowed my tongue stud. Not the ball, the whole thing.

'Oh dear' doesn't really cover it ... but oh dear. A friend of mine swallowed a lego man and a metal bolt once and he was fine. Incidentally. I know it doesn't help you to recover your tongue stud.

I went and bought a new one in Claire's Accessories. It was more annoying that anything, and now I am finding it all a bit amusing. My parents didn't mind too much about the car either. That was really their fault though, because they left it in gear. Really it drove itself into the garage door.
