I didn't take the poll, but I read the questions and the only one I knew was the Pearl Buck one. I thought the aged father might be Kurt Vonnegut, but clearly I was wrong.

I think I even owned The Stone Diaries at some point, but I haven't read it. Sounds as uplifting as the one about the dog-mauling death.
