I have no idea where the biology department is, we just went into Darwin House and into the museum. It's just amazing, so good. They don't have computers in there now, and I don't think you could possibly not have looked at the enormous tortoise shell if you'd been in there! The Petrie doesn't open on Mondays, but it's on the list. There's also a geology museum (open 12-2pm on Wednesdays), and then by appointment you can see the Galton collection, ethnographic collection, archaeology collection, and science collection (which has the first medical x-ray, apparently).
