And I am in total agreement with you re Kettle on the subject of female comedians. I also wonder if it's because when women do something well, it's often put down to being instinctive/intuitive in a light, frothy and superficial way, and not a matter of sweat and graft and other things that exude manliness from the depths of their inner core. Blech.
