We had another one of those conversations at reading group last night about how freaked out people (mostly men) get when we say we only read books by men. One person said she responded to queries about how we find enough books to read, that when we've run out books by women to read, then we'll think about reading some by men. And then we got all angry, sweary and STRIDENT about domestic violence.
