Modesty Blaise did get mentioned! But only in passing. The talk was actually a little disappointing. It was billed, and introduced, as a discussion about why there are female heroes in children's fiction, but they disappear in adult fiction, and there was very little discussion about that at all. It was all a bit superficial and disjointed. But John Marsden was one of the panel and he was very interesting.

Actually Chocmint DeLuise is Peter DeLuise, so that is very right!
