BOOM. Bang. *pretty lights*

Last night I was woken up at about 1am by fireworks. I was very startled and still half asleep, and while I was leaning out of my window to work out what was going on, I decided it was a femme pride celebration (I think this is because I was reading lj before I went to bed, and [livejournal.com profile] brandnewgun made a comment about something), and got very worried that people might be cross at being woken up and it would undermine The Cause. I'm pretty sure, now, that it probably wasn't anything of the sort. But I'm still annoyed at being woken up, as it's too hot to sleep with the windows shut.

I have invaded your sleeping mind! If it was anything of the sort, I'm annoyed not to have got my invitation.

And if you had been there, I bet you would have been willing to have them before I went to sleep, too.

Fireworks in summer are stupid, anyway, what with it aways being light. I think people should just throw flowers quietly.

Ooh, yes! Plus, flowers are biodegradeable. Much better for the environment.

Ha! Best idea ever!

What a fab idea. And also somehow hilarious.

a femme pride celebration

What a fabulous idea! We should hold one.

We should! The thing I mentioned in [livejournal.com profile] glitzfrau's journal yesterday was a great idea - someone provided the placards, all pink and shiny, and anyone who wanted (men and women and other) just took one on the Pride march. They were everywhere! And yet I have never got off my arse to make sure it happened again. Next year, perhaps, as this year I shall be juggling far too many hats plus have my sister and nephew to entertain.

Omg I now wish to undermine causes with fireworks at inappropriate times. Eee.

Not while I'm sleeping! That would be cruel. Throw the flowers, I beg you. Or do it under someone else's window?

But how will my fireworks of undermination undermine anything if they failed to annoy? Although I must confess I have huge love for fireworks and little understanding of how they could ever annoy at any time ever at all ever. But still. Hm. I will probably not wish to undermine causes to you. So will attempt to do the firework plan away from you. Okay. Hm.
