Oh.

I didn't realise which episode this was, and now Tony Wilton's dead.

Ouch! Have they got off-their-heads drunk yet? Had the funeral? Promoted Paddy?

Funeral and the drinking have just passed. It's all so terribly sad, and Joy's still being all bright and it's horrible.

And now Dave's confronting Donna about her tutor.

Yep, the (probably misquoted) "We'll manage. I don't know how we'll manage because we've just buried Tony." etc is just painful.

That art teacher's entirely too sure of himself. :tries to think of a bright spot in the episode: :fails:

There is no bright spot. Except when they give Joy the money they collected, but they only do that because TONY'S DEAD. And that's tragic. The music's sad too.

Even sadder is the lack of fic. I've read your Yuletine 2004, which is BRILLIANT. But I cannot find more.

There should be more, any fic. I reckon it was too early for an internet fandom to spring up when it was on; though I've been hoping for the DVDs to spark something, even tried drabbling myself, but no luck. Yet. :is still hopeful:

I have a lot of love for that scene, I do.

I always liked the dinner where he had his elbow in the butter.

But it's okay - she was on holiday in Africa with a new husband on Sunday night ;-)

Not only that but the reporter from Drop The Dead Donkey was there too and very good with elephants. Small world.
