Ah.

Hindsight's 20/20, and all that, but I think that had I known that the workman was coming today, I would not have hidden my vibrator under the duvet that he had to move to get to the window.

That's good advice you know. Glad we've all benefited from this Learning Experience. ;)

If it makes you feel any better, I once climbed out my morning bath and stepped into the kitchen, which is absolutely not overlooked, to get a coffee top-up. Builder had arrived very early and was standing by kitchen window. I didn't notice him until he knocked on the glass. Apparently he's still dining out the story.

*falls about laughing*

Sorry :o) But -- hee! Will you ever have to see this particular workman again?

vaguely similar story

My oldest friend came round one time and I badgered her into helping me make my bed, for some reason. As we whipped off the duvet, of course what was under it? Heh. Girls together it's a giggle, but nevertheless for the first 2 seconds all I could do was to stare at it aghast because of my secret being blown or something. A beat -- and then we both laughed together. And for the rest of the day!

Yikes! "Um... awkward!" Hee.

Some years ago, my toddler nephew wandered into my bedroom while I was in the kitchen and the next thing I knew my sister was laughing hysterically as the little tyke wandered out with a giant purple vibrator in his arms.

I know the pain of which you speak.

thank you for cheering up a vaguely melancholy day...
