Miscounted backstroke

This morning when I was swimming I miscounted my backstrokes and smashed my head into the tiles. And the week is going to continue to be this horrible until about Thursday evening.

It would comfort me greatly to know that it is not in fact the case that everyone else is doing brilliantly, so if you would like to have a grump in the comments, that would be lovely. Sod positivity.

I did that years ago at a school swimming gala and to this day I stop at least two metres short of the end whenever I swim backstroke, so I know how traumatic it is.

It's raining? Will that do? I am unreasonably upbeat at the moment for a grey gloomy Monday.

I've done it before but that was ages ago and I thought that I was better now I'm more grown up. But I'm NOT.

I suppose I can't actually grump at your upbeatness! It is gloomy here but not actually raining.
