Hello. People aren't posting much. Maybe people think that they don't have enough content for a post? In which case, you could tell me as a comment.

Or, maybe you would like to tell me a SECRET. Or just MESS WITH PEOPLE'S HEADS. Or say something you want to say but without your name attached: ANONYMOUS COMMENTS.

(Because I am a horrible person, whenever I see posts that admonish people to "play nicely", I want to leave filth-ridden comments excoriating all their near and dear. So I'm not saying that.)

how do you annoy Lady Gaga?

p-p-p-poke 'er face, p-p-poke 'er face!

You know, I don't think I've ever heard that song. I still like the joke, though!

Going to the quiz makes me realise how much I don't know current music. Every time there's a pub-wide groan of "oh, easy" I never know what's just been played. (Although I did once recognise some My Chemical Romance from one note. But it was an easy one.)

(You have to say it outloud for it to be funny)

What cheese do you use to hide your horse?

Mascarpone.

I'm pregnant! With twins!

It's always fun when people do this anonymous comment, right? Probably doesn't work if the person is already known to be pregnant with twins.

Unless there is another person one of your friends who is in a similar situation...

(Anonymous) 2010-02-17 01:56 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll help someone get pregnant. And we can do it twice, to give the chance of twins.

[identity profile] slemslempike.livejournal.com 2010-02-17 02:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Twins, wow, you know that's going to be really... AWESOME!

I am amusing myself by imagining that this is not by the person that I assume it is.

I am very much enjoying Cheer! It's fab.

I like anonymous comments even when I pretty much know who they are. I'm glad you're enjoying Cheer!. When I have money again I'm going to get even more cheerleading books. I love them so. Also books about sororities.

Ooooh anonymous person, do you think I could borrow it after you're done? Maybe at Lizzie's dinner? (if [livejournal.com profile] slemslempike doesn't mind it being passed around, of course!)

A good way to annoy Oxbridge undergrads is to say they're overtaught. I accidentally tried it on a friend.

[identity profile] slemslempike.livejournal.com 2010-02-17 02:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Ha! Bless their over-educated little heads.

Why are these tights so expensive? Why?!

[identity profile] slemslempike.livejournal.com 2010-02-17 03:28 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know! Tights are ridiculous. I love them, but they are overpriced for not much material that I mostly put my thumbs through the first time I wear. I did get some lovely bright tights from the M&S outlet shop though. I had awesome swirly turquoise tights when I was a teenager that I threw away when I was about 21 because I thought I had to be a grown-up. I WAS WRONG.

(Anonymous) 2010-02-17 03:34 pm (UTC)(link)
I am having anguished thoughts of 'I thought you liked me, but now I think you probably only hung out with me because you wanted a fat friend to stand next to to make yourself feel better' towards a real-life friend, and it's like a mini breakup. I wish this kind of shit stopped when you're about twelve like it's supposed to.

[identity profile] slemslempike.livejournal.com 2010-02-17 03:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, that's horrid. And it should totally stop when we're younger. I have found losing friends to be much harder than romantic break-ups, and there aren't the same levels of support.

2nd tights-related comment in this post: today I bought mustard-yellow tights. They are awesome. Tights never usually fit me, this is amazing! :D

[identity profile] slemslempike.livejournal.com 2010-02-17 04:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Brilliant!

I am somewhat scared of yellow. I don't know why, I just steer clear of it.

(Anonymous) 2010-02-17 04:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I commented with some pretend foreign spam and totally fooled you!

[identity profile] slemslempike.livejournal.com 2010-02-17 04:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, consider my head MESSED WITH!

[identity profile] slemslempike.livejournal.com 2010-02-17 04:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Looking at it again, I should have been more surprised at the combination of "Ronald Reagan" and "hamsters!!"

(Anonymous) 2010-02-17 06:12 pm (UTC)(link)
I am in the middle of a fit of teenagey 'omg does this new person like me or is she just looking for a new friend? WOE IS ME' angst that I am sensibly not boring my flist with. But because I can't talk to my flist about it, I've found myself talking to my housemates about it. And whereas my flist would just NOT CARE, like normal people, my housemates are both WEIRDLY CURIOUS and full of HELPFUL ADVICE. I don't know what I was expecting but this was not it.

[identity profile] slemslempike.livejournal.com 2010-02-17 07:04 pm (UTC)(link)
I can see that would be confusing. LJ has not taught you to expect helpful advice!

Do you want her to like you?

I have _so many_ posts just waiting to be made, and then every day, I keep running out of time. Boo!

Messing with people's heads? Is that like sneaking up on them and dyeing their hair purple? That could be fun.
