I have lots of things happening this morning, but have no definite time for any of them, which means I'm just watching Veronica's Closet in bed waiting, which is not the worst thing in the world, but is frustrating when I have Things To Do.

At some point after 11am a man with a van is coming to pick up 45 boxes, 3 suitcases, a wooden chair, a tallboy and my bookshelves to deliver them to Southampton. At some point probably after 10am a different man with a different van is coming to pick up 12 boxes and umpteen bags of books and clothes to take them to the British Heart Foundation. I spent yesterday making sure everything was in a different room, but there is still potential for unamusing mix-ups and I am a little anxious. But when everything is done I can take the "taking down myself/still to be sorted" piles out of my bedroom and be less cluttered in here. And a nurse is going to ring and confirm which vaccinations I've had and are up to date so I can check what I need to do. I set my alarm for before 8am this morning, to try and get a Drs appointment but they were all gone by the time I managed to get through.

Also in one room is a pile of clothes I am ebaying - have a look below. Now I look at it I am less sure about getting rid of the Coast dress with the sash. It is so nice.

But later today, Posh Lunch! At the Kitchin, yum yum yum. Tomorrow there are 7 people coming to look round the flat. And I need to work out what touching up I need to do to the paint. And clean things. And sort out the kitchen.

I like the Betty Jackson dress, but experience tells me they come up quite small.. any thoughts there?

I also like the red boots a lot, but there's no way I'd ever fit those.

I am 16/18 and can juuuuust squeeze into it if someone helps me get the zip over the seam, so for a 14 it's reasonable. It does definitely need a vest underneath it though! However, I did find the armholes quite tight. I have relatively plump upper arms so could be fine on you, but can measure if you'd like?

Sorry, how rude of me - I posted that while away in Reading for work, and then forgot about it. I've stuck a bid in anyway but yes, if you have a tape measure to hand at any point...

It's my bust that's most often problematic; arms are plumpish but not generally the issue.

How much grip is there left on the red suede boots? I had a look at the photos but couldn't tell.

Pretty good - they were never hugely grippy to begin with, but they're made of a resiny material and the bottom is still pretty rough not smooth. I tried to get a better picture but it doesn't work! Basically, I would not choose these boots to do fun slippy slides on a polished floor because there's be too much resistance, but I wouldn't choose them to wear on an icy street because they wouldn't necessarily keep me upright.
