Today I am wearing pyjamas again, with the added bonus that I don't have to leave the house, so I can wear them ALL DAY. I am wearing a Hole t shirt instead of the hoody, as it's sunny out and my flat is warmer. So instead of repeating a clovember post, I thought you might like to see (or, rather, I would like to show you) my week-old skiing bruise.

I am going again tomorrow, and I quite hope to be able to add to my collection. I really enjoyed it, and I am considering signing up for the next lot of lessons directly after these ones finish, and maybe going up to Aviemore early next year for a day or so. Last week was my first time ever on an artificial slope, and I found it completely alien when I first got on it. I'm more comfortable now, and my main thing is trying to go slowly enough to focus on technique when I want to wheeeee down the slope. I think, also, that I could quite happily spend hours going up the slope on the tug lift thing. It's so soothing. I fell over a few times, a couple of times when getting off the lift at the station that involves getting yourself far enough over a dip not to slide back, while also letting go before you're on your way to the next station, and also a couple of times at the bottom of the slope when queuing for the lift when I forgot that you can't walk in skis. Not on the slope though. I think I was quite good on the slope.

And then I tried on the dress I got a new zip in to see if I want to wear it to my aunt's wedding (with blue DMs), and I think the answer is yes.

I think I need some white or light blue tights to go with it, so probably John Lewis to the rescue.

Oh yes, an excellent dress (sorry about the bruise but glad the process of gaining it was good).

I quite like having bruises, as it makes me feel like I've done something. And this one isn't very painful, just colourful so I can just go and enjoy it.

Thank you! I think I might start buying Bravissimo/Pepperberry clothes full price, I am so pleased with how well they fit me. I can't decide whether to remove the hangar, or start carrying it around with me all the time, I quite fancy horns.

That would be great! I would definitely like a companion, so we should properly sort out doing it when you are back. I might even buy actual skiing trousers.

That is a *fabulous* dress. It is making me a little sad that my boobs are much diminished, so I can't wear things like that anymore, especially since my tummy seems relatively undiminished.

I hadn't thought about boobs diminishing with weight loss - I've had them for so long that I think I would find it very odd.

Ooh, that is an excellent dress.

I love it! Some of the Pepperberry stuff is still dreadful, but they've got a lot better in some respects recently.

That is a super dress - I remember eyeing it up in the shop. You should definitely wear it with the boots for the wedding and with some amazing tights of some kind.

The bruise is impressive too.

I think the tights will need to be pretty mundane, as there's already enough going on with the dress.

Spectacular bruise. I often end up with bruises right about there - I think it must be desk height on me, I'm always careening into them at work.

Great dress! Nothing like a bit of whimsical polka dot action. Must wangle in some polka dots myself while Clovember's on.

I am generally a stripe person, but I really like these spots.
