My dad loves the Dells he's bought through their Australian outlet site despite my brothers holding forth about Dells.
I love the Toshiba A60 I bought at Christmas -- does everything I need it to do, has a decently big screen, and was dead cheap ($A1990, with a digital camera and a printer included in the package).
I loved The History of English; I'm rather regretting giving it to my parents for their flight home from Europe. But then we all loved the TV series, too.
