Poll, Annoyances
Nov. 21st, 2005 02:53 pm[Poll #617121]
I have finished my bibliography for my meeting on Thursday. It's only five pages, but's it's all good references, I think, rather than padded with anything remotely related. I've just got to do the responses for the things I've been reading (sadly few, but hopefully just about enough) and then write the motivations paper for my other seminar, which I'll probably do tomorrow. I can't remember the deadline, but I really can't get it done at the moment. I miss my computer.
Today's annoyances:
People who don't respond to a perfectly friendly email asking about a job. If I have to ring them I will be highly annoyed.
Toilet cubicles where the sanitary disposal bin is squished in so tightly that it digs into my bum and thighs when I sit down. Menstruation is hardly a passing trend - cubicles should be designed so that there is enough room for me in there as well.
Adverts for 8mb broadband on the radio. I want that! I want it now! But then some of the other adverts have Sean Bean's voice on them, so I am somewhat soothed. (There's another one with Bill Nighy's voice, which is a little peculiar.)
