As James Bond - Roger Moore
Red Carpets and Other Banana Skins - Rupert Everett
This is probably the least I've ever read. And it's not like I've been doing anything else particularly interesting, just lying around a lot doing nothing. And the Everett I only read because the internet was down one evening. I am still plodding through Nicholas Nickleby, but hope to finish it in the next few days. November crept up on me, or I'd have tried harder to finish by now.
I don't know how I ended up with two actors' memoirs as my books. As James Bond is Roger Moore's account of filming Live and Let Die (...I think), and is quite a good read if you are at all interested in Roger Moore, or have had interest foist upon you by your near and dear. It's a bit 'of its time' with politics, but very distinctive. Rupert Everett also very distinctive voice, but considerably less coherent. Still mostly enjoyable, it's jumps around a lot, in order to fit in the maximum possible number of name-drops.
