Jul. 23rd, 2010 06:01 pmI have ordered some boxes in which to pack books. I keep thinking "I should pack", going to my room and just coming down again. it is too depressing. Also I have no boxes yet. I can't be expected to pack without boxes. I haven't yet decided what I'll take with me to Edinburgh and what I'll return to my parents' house, but either way it ALL needs to be packed, so I should get on that. I have sorted out the DVDs I want to keep, but they're still on the shelf. I need to get rid of some books, I think. I asked for a quote from a removal company too. I don't really want to drive a van myself (think of the parking), and that way people who aren't me will be the ones carrying boxes of books down and up flights of stairs. I don't want to move, it's a stupid idea.
Tomorrow I am viewing five rooms, and on Sunday I will be seeing three. Hopefully at least one of them will be livable and also think that I would be bearable to live with. I decided against responding to the man who wanted a "female" to pay £5 a week for a room and do all his cleaning.
I went to the denitst today. As in my previous visits to her, she said I had lovely teeth and excellent oral hygeine. HOWEVER, she also said that I have to have a FILLING. I have survived 29 years without needing a filling up to now, and I am very cross about this turn of events. It is a very small filling that's needed, because I have a "shadow" on the back of my top front teeth, and if we wait any longer apparently it will turn into a cavity. BOO. Fortunately it's free because I am signing on. And it will be the same colour as my teeth. And I don't mind needles or anything so I'm not very scared about it. Just annoyed.

irrtum, who came to see me. ( Filmic. ) Earlier this week I saw Four Lions. Funny, and rather horribly sad at the end. I went to the library to kill some time and read What a Lovely Pair, the joint autobiography of Ant and Dec. I LOVE THEM. It was lovely and sweet, and made me properly laugh out loud several times.
