Jul. 9th, 2013 03:45 pmI saw an sexually transmitted diseases poster on a Mental Floss post that highlighted chancroid, which I had never heard of before. So I clicked on a wikipedia link, only to be confronted with a picture of an affected penis. I am not adverse to seeing pictures of genitalia, but a) I'd rather they were less unhappy looking, and b) probably not while I'm at work. (Though I realise I could avoid this by not using the internet for non-work tasks.) And I clicked away so quickly that I didn't even get to learn what chancroid actually is, and now I am too worried about penis pictures to search again.
