Jan. 11th, 2014 10:28 pmBooker is going to be in 22 Jump Street. Even a travesty of a film like 22 Jump Street cannot help but be could do better than this. You know who they could have had instead of Booker, if they're not going to bring back the core cast to reprise their cameos in the first travesty? MICHAEL DELUISE. All films could have Michael DeLuise in them, I have never seen anything on screen that would not be improved by his presence. I have become almost inured to the disappointment of his inevitable absence. But 22 Jump Street SHOULD have Michael DeLuise, and I honestly properly don't understand why they haven't done that. FUCKING BOOKER. If you're going to have someone from JUMP! Street who isn't Michael DeLuise, you should have Captain Fuller (who is awesome).
They're also having Brad Pitt, apparently, who was in one episode, and not even the focus of that episode. That shows excellent taste on the part of Brad Pitt, understanding how very lucky he is to have been involved in such brilliant television, but a lack of imagination on the part of the producers. I would have tried to get Reginald T. Dorsey, who played the villain Waxer in the pilot episode, and came back later on as well. (I would also have wanted Kenny Weckerle, who Johnny Depp slapped around the face when he was in a hospital bed for an overdose, which is the correct treatment, but he died in a juvenile mental health facility in a later episode. The episode of his death is the one where Christina Applegate tried to seduce Johnny Depp.) And maybe the army cadets from the Best Ever Episode of JUMP! Street, Honor Bound, and the AWOL guy that Hanson and Penhall try to return to the base with canonical (nearly) huddling for warmth in the snow.
Not Booker, is what I'm saying. Never Booker.
