This morning when I was swimming I miscounted my backstrokes and smashed my head into the tiles. And the week is going to continue to be this horrible until about Thursday evening.

It would comfort me greatly to know that it is not in fact the case that everyone else is doing brilliantly, so if you would like to have a grump in the comments, that would be lovely. Sod positivity.

Hmmm, I don't think I have that.

I've ruined an entire decade. Not over the course of the afternoon. More sort of over the course of the decade. But still. And APPARENTLY I'm not allowed another stab at it. And I think I've forgotten how to write and I'm jealous of everyone I meet. There.

Oh dear. I think we should be allowed to do over years and decades if we want. Probably not all of them, but certainly we should at least once get the opportunity to redo things at least once.

I will grump! I went back to the doctor, still feeling crap after a week of antibiotics, and he said at the end of the course I can expect to feel only 50% better, it'll take 6-8 weeks to fully recover, and then told me off for expecting to be better quickly! "You have pneumonia, it's not a cold! A century ago this sort of thing regularly killed people!" Then he told me I'm not well enough to travel, so I have to extend my stay and not go home this week.

And the painkillers he prescribed, while better than the hospital ones, are giving me stomach aches!

Oh no! That's properly horrible, and the stomach ache too.

This comment should absolutely win.

Was it an important decade? If it wasn't a great one you're probably better off without it. It would have brought your average down.

Ouch! I will help:

I have discovered that my body no longer likes cheese. This is most definitely not good because I happen to love cheese. I am vegetarian and I eat it with, on, and in everything. I mean, come on, cheese?!

Right now I'm thinking why did I spend my work experience on a neonatal ward, when I could have gone and learnt to ski in the Alps.... Not that anybody offered to take me to the Alps, but I was quite capable of making the booking. Especially as I now have nothing whatsoever to do with neonatal wards.
