I did not know that! I tried to polish them up with a cheap buffer thing from the corner shop, but that did not do anything at all. At the moment they are residing under my bed because I only have to wear trainers, but once I have a need for Proper Shoes again, I shall take them to be polished. I would very much like to feel like a 1950s businessman.
