December Books and Year End

There's Always Danny - Jean Ure
Say Goodbye - Jean Ure
The Life and Soul of the Party - Mike Gayle
Wish You Were Here - Mike Gayle
Faces of Humph - Humphrey Lyttleton
Mrs 'Arris Goes to Paris - Paul Gallicoe
Finishing up the Jean Ure trilogy. Vanessa is more annoying that I remembered, and Kate less so, but then I have developed increased sympathy for people who are a bit clueless. I did not much enjoy the Mike Gayle books (though thank you very much for lending them to me,
huskyteer!). Partly I'm not all that keen on perspective shifts in books. Humph's cartoons were just lovely, as was Mrs 'Arris Goes to Paris. I did start reading about Mrs 'Arris in New York, but I didn't get to see what happened.
Everything I read in 2009 in list form, and in a table:

In 2008 I read 126 books, of which 17 were rereads. So only slightly fewer books this year, but more rereads. I am not sure how this will change post-PhD, and I suppose it depends on if I get a job, and what that ends up being. I am trying to follow along with
wanderingrocks and read Ulysses, which I think will be quite time consuming.
