Her first love is great

I've just watched My First Love with Sue Perkins having piano lessons after not having played for years in order to play at Cheltenham. My two favourite bits were when she talks about Mel. The first bit was how it's hard when a friend goes off and has babies, and reminds you that your life is different, and that you're not heterosexual, and that you're not going to have children (these were two separate points, she clarified). The second was at the end, when she's pulled out emotion to pour into the piece that she wasn't sure she could do, and is talking about what she was thinking about, and the first person she mentions is Mel.
