Having spent the past couple of weeks doing almost nothing but watch Larry Sanders, I can confidently tell you that nothing else I love is as good as it. I am trying EVEN NOW to think of anything else that I like and drawing a blank. (Apart from Luck, which is perfect but did kill some horses, admittedly.)
The showrunner was incompetent only in the sense that they (she?) created a HILARIOUSLY BAD tv show that didn't realise it was hilariously bad. Which is clearly NO CRIME because now Smash will just get boring and probably we won't have so many scenes of the sneaky assistant sneaking around/the gormless son talking about how HIS SISTER IS IN CHINA. Those are my favourite bits of Smash.
