The lie I tell the most often is probably "I'm sorry, could you repeat that - our connection broke up and I didn't her what you said". VERY useful - I am on a lot of long and boring skype calls so I rarely pay much attention. I am usually very good at tuning back in, but sometimes I am engrossed in reading celebrity gossip or playing mahjong. In addition to getting you out of a tricky situation it is good for reminding people that I'M IN SOUTH SUDAN, MAN, and therefore worthy of much respect from their comfortable university in America.
I am sometimes appalled by the facility with which I lie about some thnigs.
