Next door to computers for the terrified
Aug. 31st, 2005 03:53 pmI can do a course in Serial Killers at my local adult ed college. It's right there in the middle of archaeology (how to bury the bodies?), creative writing (how to create an effective alibi?) and Fung Shui (where to carry it out?). AND there's a lettering in stone class in case you want to give your victims a nice memorial! (Sorry - I'm sharing an office with a suicide project and the morbidity is rubbing off.)
I do quite fancy the stained glass workshop though. I was thinking about a language, but it makes more sense to do it through the university if I can get on one of their language for all courses.

Date: 2005-08-31 02:03 pm (UTC)I remember justifying reading Jurassic Park to myself in a similar way, when I should have been revising for exams. I was doing Genetics, Geology and History, so I reckoned Jurassic Park fitted all three; though in retrospect, reading my class notes might have been more help!
I think either would be great, actually - though I think I'd pick the stained class course out of the two, because you can learn all you need to know about Serial Killers by watching Forensic Files and Cold Case Files on the Discovery and History channels. That's where I get all my tips! ;)
