(no subject)

It's my birthday in a few weeks, and I'm thinking of getting a new smartish bag for work. My current Trucker bag with blue arrows from Queen Bee bags is still good, but it's starting to look a little tatty. For myself, I still like it, but when I'm doing professional things I want to have something that looks neat. Other than Queen Bee, does anyone have recommendations for where I can get a bag that a) looks smart enough for work including when accompanying Top Brass etc and b) still looks cool enough to suggest that I haven't sold out to The Man? I mean, I pretty much have, but I want to be able to pretend.

I like bags with straps long enough to wear messenger style, but a relatively thick shoulder strap is probably fine, and it needs to hold at least an A4 notepad. I would prefer not velcro, so I can open it surreptitiously. Realistically, not too expensive, but I'd like to look at all bags.
