I swear, this was in an entirely essay-related google (although the lotrips mpreg isn't really, unless you count it as research for having fun with gender, which I just might, although I probably won't go as far as to reference it in my bibliography): Wacky Wet World. Surprisingly, entirely worksafe. My two favourite categories are "poncho pals" and "wet jeans boys".

3625, which feels like the end is in sight, much sooner than I woruld have thought possible.

ETA: Gallery of Grange Hill wet clothes stills! This has become rather less work related.

What a very odd but curiously appealing site. I particularly like the FAQ which has a whole list of things you can tell people when they ask you what you're doing swimming with your clothes on. But the thing is, they never actually do spell out what the appeal is, except that 'it feels nice'.
Oh well, I suppose that's a good enough reason.

We had to swim in pyjamas for primary school swimming certificates. I don't remember it feeling particularly good - and you had even more dripping wet things to take home than normal. But that may just have been the embarassment of revealing to your classmates what you wore in bed.

Oh yes! I remember doing that too. Eddie Izzard does a very funny sketch about learning life-saving that way. Something along the lines of, he sees someone drowning in a canal, and he says 'oh don't worry I can help, I'll just have to pop home and get my pyjamas and I'll be right with you. Hang on!'

It's a lot funnier when he does it, obviously.

I am amused by the places where it veers into rather dody tones, such as the person who got two young men to dive into a pool over and over again to pick up money.

The site is rather fun though, it even makes me forget about the misery of wet clothes clinging and chafing and want to go and swim in my clothes.

Don't suppose you've got any charts or tables you could put in to beef it up? They wouldn't add much to the work count, but they'd make it look bigger, and no-one's going to actually count the words.

Sadly not! I got to 4000 and handed it in, I think it'll probably be okay.
