I just went to the grill and discovered that in addition to the red peppers of which I was aware, I have been grilling a daddy-long-legs.

Oh dear. I consumed a fair number of boiled greenfly not that long ago, with pasta and broccoli. It's a shame mostly.

I threw the daddy-long-legs in the bin. Should I have eaten it?

Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall would've eaten it. I suppose. I would not have done so. I don't think you ought to feel a MASSIVE WASTREL for having discarded it.

Good. I won't. I had pasta and pesto and cheese and broccoli and roasted red peppers and tomatoes. Which I will also be having tomorrow.

Those are good things. Greenfly are an interesting addition to pasta. If you're interested. I had roasted pepper and tomatoes as well today, but no dragonfly. Your repast was more imaginative.

What a thing to find! I'm glad you threw it in the bin: protein is a good thing, but not *that* good. Anyway, you could always make up for it with extra cheese.
