I have open office instead of MS office now, and OO won't open my museums database that I made in Access 2007. Any of the following would be appreciated:

1) Any ideas on how to make it work.

2) Someone with Access to whom I could email my database, and then they could paste the "open on Mondays" "Not open weekends" museums into an email and send it back.

3) Someone with Access and Open Office, who could receive the file, open it in Access and then save it in an OO friendly format and sent it back.

I suspect that the problem is that OpenOffice won't handle Office 2007 file formats, so all you need is someone to open the file in Access and save it as the older file format (.dba rather than .dbax, at a guess).

I have Office 2007 at the office so could do it on Monday if no-one else can help sooner.

Ah, that does make sense. Thanks for the offer - I need it for tomorrow morning, though!

I can certainly do 2), and probably 3). If you send it to me, I'll have a look...
