I have to go up to Edinburgh to sign my lease on Wednesday, which is sort of fine, but means that I have to really really get things done today as Tuesday I have a filling and a pub quiz to run, Thursday I am taking part in a psych study, signing on and then going to London, on Friday I'm seeing Henry VIII and getting the train back up and then on Saturday my parents are coming to take things away for me. Lots to do! So little inclination to do any of it!

How are you? Are you doing things that aren't packing? Tell me about them! I have almost forgotten that people can spend their time not putting things into boxes.

(If anyone in/around Edinburgh would like to come to a fringe show with me in the afternoon, or possibly have some sort of beverage or nourishment at any point before the last train at nearly 8pm, that would be lovely!)

I'm battling a flea infestation, wondering what to draw, contemplating the best course of action re. my intermittently faulty boiler and beign disappointed that the episode of Voyager currently on the telly is a Chakotay one. It's not massively more fun than packing, to be honest.

I'm sorry about Chakotay. I've been watching Roseanne - he doesn't show up there. Also sorry about your flea infestation. I am covered in dust. I have run out of boxes, but not books. It's a bit upsetting.

I have to be in Morningside to sign at 1.30, so either an early or a late lunch might be possible? I'm not sure how long it will take me, but I can't imagine it'd be more than half an hour.

Could do a noon lunch nearish my work (which is Leith, so wrong end of town for Morningside, but it's doable in a half hour). Or I could work through and meet you later? I do need to get home before 6ish, though.

Well, if you don't mind coming out of the city centre, we could meet at Coffee Angel at Canonmills/Brandon Terrace - they do soups and sarnies and salads and are open till 7pm. I tend to try and avoid the Mile, North and South Bridge and points south, George IV Bridge, Forest Row, Princes and George St at this time of year, since everywhere is usually mobbed. The 23 and 27 buses will get you there and back if you don't want to walk or else are lazy like me.
