Does anyone know where my mum can get a Neti pot? She was recommended it by a doctor, but the company he told her about seem to have stopped making them.

Also, does anyone know if, when you move house when you're claiming JSA and housing benefit, can you just transfer your claims, or do you have to start the beastly process all over again?

BT cancelled our internet. Despite the fact that they don't provide our internet. It was while they were reconnecting us with the wrong number. They've put some sort of tag on our account and claim they can't take it off. They are awful, awful people. Alice and Jen have been doing the calling. They are great, great people.

I have one of these - I bought mine in the local chemist, where it was recommended by our old-fashioned (i.e. knows everything, mixes his own stuff) eastern European chemist, but you can get them online.

Gahh, BT, you have my sympathies! But, having said that, their twitter account was quite useful (offering to chase up problems for you) -- you could try sending a message to @BTcare? Good luck!

Hmph, their twitter account never contacted me! I might try them if Jen and Alice haven't managed to find someone on the phone when I get home.

I'm not sure where [livejournal.com profile] leedy got hers from, but she referred to this site, which I see has some comparisons and availability info.

Gah about the Internet problems. It wasn't so hard for them to get you *into* this mess, was it? Sheesh. I hope it gets sorted out soon...

JSA will probably require an "abbreviated" form of filling in the form all over again at your new job centre. But housing benefit will require starting all over again, as that's administered by the local council, and your housing situation is different. Good luck!
