2011 - 92 books, of which one was a reread. That astounds me, unless I've forgotten to write them down, it's definitely the least rereading I've ever done. I am not surprised that it's comparatively few books overall though. I feel like I've done very little this year of almost anything (for me, that is), and reading's been part of that. Compared to previous years (where I was at least also always reading for phd stuff as well), this is very few books indeed.
2010 - 184
2009 - 123, 23 rereads
2008 - 126, 17 rereads
2007 - 134
2006 - 224
2005 - 244
Next year I very much intend to get back to writing monthly book posts. There are certainly books I've forgotten I've read and not written down here (and I'm not just saying that because it's the least amount of reading I've done since I started keeping track). And I like writing something about each book, which I can't do when I forget what they even are six months later. I can also start keeping a list on my harddrive at work so I can add to it there instead of thinking I mustn't because it's on lj.
