Jul. 13th, 2013 10:41 amLivejournal won't let me log-in on my laptop when I'm using Firefox. It's fine using Firefox at work, and it's fine using Internet Explorer (well, not fine) on my laptop, but using firefox on my laptop means it pretends to log me in, and then every time I look at my friends page or my journal, I am not logged in and can only see public entries. I tried reinstalling firefox, which didn't seem to help - any other things I can try?
I'm currently using revo unistaller to really get rid of firefox before trying another install.

Date: 2013-07-13 09:08 am (UTC)Could it be an issue with cookies? Make sure that Firefox is accepting cookies (Tools | Options, then under Privacy, either choose 'Remember history', or choose 'Use custom settings for history' and set Firefox to accept cookies.)
Normally, I would also consider telling Firefox to clear all locally held data about the site, but if you've completely uninstalled it, that shouldn't be relevant.
Good luck!
