Jun. 20th, 2016 09:49 pmI've forgotten how not to eat. How do people do it? I keep buying food, and thinking "this will be good for lunch", or snacks, or plan out how I'm going to cook lovely vegetable filled meals, but instead all I do is get home and eat my way through everything. I can do being too hot to eat, not having anything except noodles in the cupboard and being too annoyed with vehicle availability to be bothered to go out, and being worm-infested, and there not being anything nice in the whole city, but I have entirely lost the ability of there being food in my proximity that I want to eat, and yet not instantly putting it in my mouth. Realistically what I need to do is stop buying mulitpacks of Wotsits. And twixes. And mini bags of cocktail sausages. I did actually buy a lausagne to heat, but when I got home the oven wasn't working. It is now, so I'm cooking it ready to have for lunch tomorrow. OH FOOD. I have missed you.

Date: 2016-06-21 12:59 pm (UTC)It is the multipacks of Wotsits that are my downfall as well. I have told the children that I will do a monthly food shop/delivery that contains a moderate amount of multipacks of crisps, chocolate bars, biscuits and fizzy drinks for four people and when they are all gone, there will be no more until the next month. I am hoping this will work on me as well as them.
