I was about to write an entry about the event today, but then I dropped my laptop on my nose, which hurts. It is also cut, so tomorrow I will have a scar that I am somehow going to have to explain to my colleagues in a way that doesn't sound too depressingly ridiculous.

I once stabbed myself in the forehead with my own thumbnail while attempting to put on a t-shirt.

The thumbnail poke? I think I do that every month or so. I have no idea why.

A couple weeks ago, I accidentally stapled my own thumb, too. Criminy.

Hope you feel better soon!

Ooh, like in There's a Bat in Bunk Five! Er, I mean, ow, that must have hurt.

I just don't get the thumbnail poke, I mean, they're both parts of the same body, right? Why don't they know what's going on wiht each other?

I once acquired a spectacular black eye through innocent circumstance, but everyone at work eyed me up as though wondering whether to give me the Domestic Violence hotline number.

Hee! I once had a rather nasty bruise on my chin because I squeezed a particularly feisty spot too hard, and told all enquirers that my housemate had thrown me down the stairs. Sadly, no-one believed me, and I was forced to admit the truth.

I once hit myself on the head with an apple when I bit into it.
