The worst book I read was The Ship, which was very dull. Best books were To the Last Man I Slept With... and The Bazalgettes. I'd been meaning to get hold of the former for a while and not managed before. It's a collection of Gwen's short stories and they're great. The Silent Speaker is an adult book of Streatfeild, and quite depressing, as they generally are. It starts with a group of friends having dinner, and then after they go home their hostess kills herself. The book's about them finding out why, wiht a rather unsatisfactory ending for me.

I don't know how many I bought this month - a lot of these were trying to finish up books I'd had around for a while and not managed to read yet despite my best intentions.

I read really quickly, and two of those were rereads. And I would say that over half of those were easy reads rather than challenging. Articles totally count.

Yeah, I'm still halfway through Tristram Shandy which I think should account for something!

I read Harry Potter plus a book on deconstruction & graphic design.

Yep. It's Darwin based, and I enjoyed it, although mostly the wizardly bits.
