Is there anything better than being really quite hungry, yet too lazy to go downstairs to get food, and then unexpectedly finding half a bag of gummy sweets in the folds of the duvet? I have to say no, there isn't.

Via ankaret - You Don't Have to Be Pretty. I love this. I have a friend who persists in saying things like "oh, she would look so much better in a nice pencil skirt" and telling me that I should wear more brown instead of black, when I love black, and also rather hate pencil skirts.

I have 13 books on my bed at the moment, not counting a programme and an A-Z. Also: mobile phone, phone, 7 DVDs out of the cases, two holders of cds, oyster card, tissues, personal massager, earplugs and empty packet of gummy sweets. Also scissors.

I have to go and wash the dye out of my hair now.
