cauliflower is too often overcooked. Broccoli is too often undercooked. Cauli is quite bland and needs like cheese or something to go with it, broccoli dun't. Also I don't trust either of their spellings. I think Collyflower and Brockolly should be the new spellings. All this Y avoidance is distressing.

I love undercooked broccoli. I like the stalks to be quite tough when I eat them. I rather like the new spellings, particularly brockolly. Redolent of umberllas.

Umberllas sound like some sort of Spanish wild mushroom. To be eaten sautéed with garlic, accompanied by a dry sherry.
